Friday 24 July

We have completed Risk Assessments for our Offices, Bistro, Retail outlets and for visiting patients at home.  These can now be downloaded via the COVID-19 Risk Assessments page, under About Us Menu and Governance pages.

To make sure we are doing our best to keep everyone safe, it is now compulsory to wear a face covering in the Hospice.

This includes:

  • When entering the Hospice to speak to reception/a member of staff
  • When dropping anything off to reception/fundraising
  • When purchasing items from reception,
  • When accompanying a patient to an appointment
  • Upon entry when visiting (Inpatient Unit staff will explain the procedure for the ward)
  • At all times when moving around the Hospice

You can wear your own mask (disposable masks will be available on main reception and Inpatient Unit reception desk, if required).  We appreciate not everyone can wear a face covering therefore, if possible, please explain this to staff upon arrival.
