Money Multiplier Challenge
Is your business ready for a team building challenge whilst supporting a local charity?
With a seed fund of just £50, see how much ££££££ your team can turn this into, in just over three months.
The challenge will run from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2025! Contact partnerships@arhc.org.uk to register your place.

What is the challenge?
Three months, £50 and a competitive team to raise as much as possible for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity… all while having lots of fun of course!
Do you have what it takes to compete with local businesses to become the Ultimate Money Multiplying Team?
From an initial £50 investment, how much can you raise in three months to support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end of life care?
How does it work?
1. A team of you and your colleagues enter the Money Multiplier Challenge.
2. Arthur Rank Hospice Charity will provide your team with £50 seed funding.
3. Each team will have three months to grow this £50 into as much profit as you can through your fundraising activities.
4. You will be allocated a dedicated fundraiser to help set up a fundraising plan in the months running up to the start of the challenge.
5. Your allocated fundraiser will provide you with any fundraising materials you need.
The team that raises the most money, of all the teams taking part, will win a trophy and a ticket to an Arthur Rank Hospice Charity event of their choosing!

FAQs
Do we have to return the £50?
The £50 will be included in the total amount of money you raise. If you don’t raise money, or decide not to go ahead with the challenge after receiving the £50, then yes, we will need the £50 returned to the Charity.
Is there a minimum amount we need to raise?
No, you can raise as little or as much as you feel like your team can achieve, so long as the initial £50 is returned to the Charity. It’s all about having fun as a team whilst raising money in a way that works for you.
What are the benefits to our business?
Signing your company up to the Money Multiplier Challenge is a fantastic opportunity to engage colleagues and add a splash of excitement into the workplace.
This initiative presents a perfect chance to team build, get creative, boost morale and engage with your local community for a much-loved local cause!
How will we know where we stand against the other teams?
Our fundraising team will check in every month to see how much has been raised so far and collect every team’s total on the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity website, so you’ll be able to see where you stand next to the other teams.
What do we win if we raise the most?
The winning team will win a trophy, free tickets to an Arthur Rank Hospice Charity event of their choosing and plenty of recognition in the press and on our social media platforms and newsletter!
Don’t worry, though, if you don’t win, we will still mention your support and give you a nice certificate to display!
Is this the same as the Accumulator Challenge?
The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity Accumulator Challenge ran successfully for eight years until the pandemic in 2020. We wanted to bring the event back, with a few changes. We wanted a fresh new initiative, with new ideas and branding, so instead of relaunching a previous event, we launched the Money Multiplier Challenge. If you took part in the Accumulator Challenge previously, you can expect a similar structure, with more hands-on support from our fundraising team, but fewer in-person events.
I want to take part, but I'm not available from October to December to take part in the 2025 challenge - what can I do?
If you are not able to take part in the 2025 challenge, which will run from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2025, then why not consider hosting your own Money Multiplier Challenge?
Your company’s Finance, HR, Communications, and Sales teams could compete against one another to see which team can raise the most money from their seed fund. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work in a team to come up with creative fundraising ideas to raise funds for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
Please contact partnerships@arhc.org.uk to discuss this further.
