Directions
By car: Leave the A11 at the Four Wentways roundabout. Head towards Cambridge along the A1307 Cambridge/Babraham Road. At the second roundabout, take the 3rd exit. The entrance to the Hospice is on the left, or if you wish to use the Park & Ride, please proceed and take the 2nd left after the Hospice turning. Car parking in the Park & Ride is free for up to 18 hours. The Hospice car park is reserved for patients and their visitors.
Pedestrian access to ARHC from Babraham Park and Ride: If you are walking to the Hospice from Babraham Road, the safest way to access the Hospice is via the Babraham Road Park & Ride, as Shelford Road does not have a footpath beyond the roundabout.
You can access the Park & Ride from Babraham Road, near the traffic lights just past the Audi garage.
If you are arriving by public bus on Babraham Road, please walk via the Park & Ride bus entrance. When you get off the bus, you may have already passed the entrance for the Park & Ride. You need to walk back down Babraham Road (in the direction of Addenbrookes) and take the footpath into the Park & Ride on your right.
Follow the footpath into the Park & Ride, alongside where the buses drive, to the main Babraham Road Park & Ride terminal. With the terminal in front of you, turn right and follow the footpath and cycle path on the right-hand side of the road, with white and green signs for the Hospice. Continue to the Hospice, crossing the road to the Focus School (please beware of drivers turning in here), and enter the Hospice car park. Follow the path to the entrance to the Hospice.
By train: Cambridge Railway Station is approximately 3 miles from the Hospice. Taxis are available outside the station entrance, or buses run from the station to the Babraham Park & Ride.

At the roundabout take 1st exit on to South Brink A47
At the roundabout take 1st exit onto Cromwell road B198
At the Freedom Bridge roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Churchill Road/A1101
Turn left onto Whitby Street
Turn right on to St Augustine’s Road
Continue forward onto the North Cambs Hospital site.
By Public Bus
Arrive at the Horse Fair bus station. Taxis are available at the entrance to the bus station or the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre is a 5-minute walk. Head through town across Churchill Road, the North Cambs hospital is in front of you where the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre is situated.
By Train
March railway station is approximately 10 miles from the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre. Taxis are available outside the train station or buses run from the train station to Wisbech Horsefair bus station. The Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre is a 5-minute walk. Head through town across Churchill Road, the North Cambs hospital is in front of you where the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre is situated.
