Venue information

The Conference Suite is a flexible meeting room space for in-person and virtual attendees for your lecture, seminar, training or meeting.  With exclusive hire of the Conference Suite, the space can be customised to create one conference room for 30-90 persons or three separate meeting or breakout rooms for 10-30 persons all equipped with audio visual facilities and WiFi.  The Centre is available to hire Mon-Fri from 8am-5.30pm and evening functions on application with minimum numbers of 30 delegates.

The Education & Conference Centre at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity set up as a Conference Room with a maximum capacity of 90 people. The room can also be divided into two or three smaller spaces.

Day Delegate Packages 

We offer Day Delegate Packages*.  Select from our Bronze or Silver packages from £38.00-£45.00 to include:

  • 8 hour Conference Room Hire equipped with Audio Visual facilities, flipcharts and WiFi
  • Conference stationery and table mineral water 
  • Three servings of refreshments of coffee, teas, fruit juices and individually wrapped biscuits
  • Hot or cold buffet lunch with seasonal fruit and delicious bite size cakes 
  • Conference Manager 
  • One Car Parking space subject to availability 

For exclusive hire minimum numbers 30. Prices are valid to 31.12.22 and exclude VAT. *Minimum delegate numbers apply.

Room Hire Packages 

Having a smaller meeting? We offer room hire packages from £225.00+vat and for your catering requirements select from our menus.  We offer breakfast and sandwich lunch buffets as well as a hot buffet or canapes for evening receptions.  Buffets orders are subject to a minimum of 10  persons. 

We are committed to sustainability and using eco-friendly packaging and sourcing local produce where possible.

Hybrid and Video Streaming Packages for Meetings and Events

Our video conferencing and streaming packages offer event solutions for in-person and virtual delegates.  Our hybrid packages are delivered in association with Venue Audio Visual using our in-house video conferencing equipment.  Contact our Conference Team who will help you to choose the right solution to create a successful event.

Is the venue accessible?

Our venue is fully accessible and we welcome all visitors.

Our Conference Team will be on hand to support and will be pleased to assist you before and during your visit.

The Conference Suite can be divided to create three separate rooms, ideal for smaller meetings or break out spaces.

Our Hospitality Team will cater for your event with refreshments and catering served to the Conference Centre.  

Perfect for breakfast meetings, select from either the Continental or English breakfast buffet or our hot or cold lunch buffets with assorted meat, fish and vegetarian sandwiches, fresh fruit platter and cakes and sweet treat assortment.

Planning an evening function? Select from our menus including Canapés, hot or cold buffet or summer BBQ. If you are considering a particular theme we can discuss a customised menu for your event to fit with your budget.

We cater for particular dietary requirements with advance notice.  We are a non-licensed venue, however we can apply for a temporary alcohol license subject to advance notice.

The hospice is conveniently located next to the Babraham Park & Ride where all visitors are encouraged to park for free.

Louise HIggins

Louise Higgins, Conference Team

Louise is our Business Development Officer, having joined the charity when the Hospice moved in 2016.  She will help you plan your event and provide solutions to meet your requirements as well as play a key role in delivering our conference customer service. As an experienced Events Manager, she has worked with a range of high profile clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional mid-scale – in person corporate events, dinners and conferences in the UK and Europe. Louise and the Conference Team will be on hand to support you, provide a warm welcome to your delegates and ensure you have a successful event.
