Trustee

Colin is a senior policy adviser in HM Treasury’s public services group and advises ministers on the implementation and scrutiny of c.£40bn of annual public expenditure.

He has worked in both local and central government, on issues from adult social care to the prisons budget, and most recently as part of the UK’s negotiating team on our trading relationship with the EU.

Colin has personally experienced Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’s services when his mother was admitted for end-of-life care in 2019 following a terminal cancer diagnosis.

He strongly believes in Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’s mission and ensuring its services remain available to anyone who needs them.
