Nicola Scrivings

Trustee

Nicola is a Business Studies graduate, specialising in Marketing. She spent the majority of her full-time career in the Royal Mail where she held a variety of Strategic and Operational leadership roles, finishing her career as Regional Operation Director for Anglia.

She left Royal Mail to develop new skills as a Non-Executive Director across a range of sectors, but predominantly Health Care and supported living, mostly in Cambridge but also across Anglia. Her last role was Chair of East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust which she left in May 2023. She continues on a part-time basis with the Judicial Appointments Commission.

She brings strong governance experience from regulated industries, commercial development from her time with Royal Mail, extensive knowledge of the Health and Care Sector within Cambridge, but also a passion for ensuring that service users and employees are involved in the continuing success of the organisations she has worked for.

As a local resident she knows first hand the high value the local community places on Arthur Rank Hospice Charity services and was keen to support in any way possible after her Mum was admitted to the Inpatient Unit in 2021, and experienced first hand the compassion shown to her Mum and her family at a very difficult time.
