The Fundraising Team were delighted to receive a special letter from 10 year old Lucy recently.
Lucy’s letter explained that whilst her Grandma was hosting a garage sale in their local village, she asked if she could run a Tombola at the same time, to raise vital funds for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
All of the prizes were kindly donated by family and friends and Lucy raised raised an amazing £76.00 in one afternoon!
Lucy wrote:
” I chose Arthur Rank Hospice Charity because it is a close [to the hearts] to a friend of the family.”
Community Fundraiser, Sarah Clayton commented:
“Well done Lucy! We love hearing about Young Supporters running activities to raise funds to support the services, which are free of charge to our patients, at the Charity.”
If you or the younger members of your family have been inspired by Lucy and would like to fundraise for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity please contact Sarah from our Community Fundraising team; email cf@arhc.org.uk or call 01223 675888 for fundraising support.
