Seven different species of butterflies spotted in Hospice garden

Not 1-2-3-4-5-6 but seven different species of butterflies were spotted in the garden of the Hospice in July 2023 for national Big Butterfly Count –  2 x Large white, 1 x Comma, 2 Gatekeeper, 1 x Peacock, 1 x Red Admiral and a Mint Moth.

We don’t think it was just the amazing flowers, tended by own wonderful volunteers that attracted them – little Lola was visiting her Aunty at the Inpatient Unit and couldn’t wait to help us spot them.
