Our Board of Trustees share the huge responsibility of governing the Charity, overseeing our operations and directing how we are managed and run.

Each one brings a unique set of skills and we periodically invite applications from new Trustees to join us.

The board; Antoinette Jackson – Chair of Trustees, Julia Curtis – Vice Chair of Trustees, Neil Tween – Chair of Finance and General Purposes Committee, Arnold Fertig – Wellbeing Lead, Carolan Davidge – Chair of Income Generation Committee and Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, Mark Kingstone – Safeguarding Lead, Nicola Scrivings – Equalities Champion, Dr Catherine Bennett and Sonali Kumarakulasinghe – Chair of Renumerations & Nominations Committee were delighted to welcome Eduardo Prato, Rob Negus and Andy Rigby to  their first board meeting in September.

Eduardo was first introduced to the Charity when his beloved wife of 30 years, and mother to his four children, was admitted to the Inpatient Unit in 2024. Along with his lived experience he brings his awareness that challenges Charities face, whilst working as a Pilot at East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).

Rob is the Chief Information and Digital Officer for ASL Group. He has held a number of senior technology roles in large companies, including Worldpay, Arm, and Tate & Lyle. Inspired by the incredible work that the Charity does and seeing this firsthand, Rob wants to give something back. He has been an active ambassador and fundraiser for the Charity, wearing his running vest at many events he has taken part in, including marathons, half marathons, a Fire Walk and Mount Everest base camp trek!

Andy is Chief Executive Officer of the East of England Co-op. With 40 years’ experience in senior executive roles across food retail, fast moving consumer goods, wholesale and pharmacy, Andy is passionate about providing essential services when and where they’re needed most. Alongside his corporate commitments, Andy leads a programme of charity foundation work in Gambia to improve local community education. A long admirer of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’s invaluable work across Cambridgeshire, Andy joins as a trustee to offer his diverse commercial skills and expertise in support of the Charity’s ‘Making Every Moment Count’ vision.
