Festive greeting cards featuring Kings College, Grantchester Church, Ely Cathedral, Wimpole Hall, the Mathematical Bridge and Market Square are proving popular with supporters of the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, this year. In fact, the Kings College and Market Square designs have sold so fast, that the Retail Team have had to order more to try and keep pace with demand!Sarah Turner, Shop Manager who is also responsible for collating and sending out online Christmas card orders, comments: “Christmas is my favourite time of year. I’ve had so much fun being the festive elf at the Hospice this year: it’s been lovely gathering together beautiful Christmas cards to send out to our supporters!I’ve been amazed with all the compliments we’ve had about the range and quality of cards we stock. If you haven’t seen them yet, take a look our online shop, in any of our five shops, at Reception of the Hospice in Shelford Bottom, or the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech. Some even feature flitter, rather than glitter, so you can recycle them!”The picturesque local designs (£4.50 for a pack of 10, plus P&P) are six of a range of fifteen available from the Charity. Eight other colourful designs (£3.95 per pack of 10, plus P&P) include ‘Merry Christmas’ letters, a sleepy mouse who has tucked into a rather large Christmas pudding, a sheep in woolly hat and scarf, a nativity scene, an Arthur Bear with a robin, fairy baubles, bicycles and Santa – whilst a very cute fluffy robin design has already sold out of all 525 packets which had been stocked!
