On Sunday 12 July 2026, Sara Robins, Director of Clinical Services and Deputy CEO and Carly Wills, Matron of Clinical Services at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, were delighted to attend a Health Hub Event in Northstowe(opens in new tab).
Community is one of the Charity’s values and that means visiting people in their environments as well as inviting people to our Hospice in Cambridge and the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech. This gives us an opportunity to let people know about our services which support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end of life care. In turn, it also helps us to continually engage, learn and recognise our community’s needs, so we can help to meet those in all our services.
It was the first venture for a health hub event in Northstowe and was supported by the Northstowe Muslims. It was a great day of coming together to enjoy a day of health promotion, supporting the local community and networking.
If you would like the Charity to visit your event, please visit arhc.org.uk/request-guest-speaker or email fundraising@arhc.org.uk(opens in new tab) or telephone 01223 675888.
