Penny Heath’s Cambridge ‘Art Garden’ supports Hospice Care

On Friday 15 May 2026, hundred’s of supporters enjoyed the opening night of art and entertainment in at Penny Heath’s 2026 ‘Art Garden’ event.
Members of the Events and Community fundraising team were delighted to be invited to serve drinks to guests, whilst enjoying a beautiful spring evening, surrounded by artwork in the Newnham gardens. Visitors described the event as magical, a triumph, inspiring and truly wonderful’
Penny shared:
“It was a delight to support Arthur Rank Hospice Charity with an admission donation collection at Art Garden this year. There were hundreds of people who came to support the Charity whilst visiting the garden and exploring the artworks on display.”
Thanks to the generosity of Penny and everyone who supported her, the event raised more than £7,400 to support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end of life care.

Penny continued:
“A huge thank you to all the exhibitors, the Art Garden team and helpers, and an enormous thank you to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity volunteers who made the Friday evening reception such fun. We are amazed and thrilled that we raised such a lot of in donations. Even people who could not come kindly sent donations. Humble thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable weekend for a special charity.”
We are grateful to Penny, her wonderful family, the talented artists, the many helpers and everyone who attended and donated so generously.
