All at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity were delighted to see Anglesey Abbey featured on Antiques Roadshow on Sunday 22 December 2024 at 7.30pm (available to listen back on the iplayer).
Back in the summer, Helen Ackroyd (pictured in the main image) had kindly visited the Living Well patients at the Hospice to give an interesting and informative talk about Anglesey Abbey, in Lode in Cambridgeshire, where she volunteers.
After her presentation, one of the patients commented:
“Helen transported us to a different place, even though we stayed in the Hospice!”
Another patient shared:
“ I have visited Anglesey Abbey before and, after Helen’s talk, I told my friend about it and she visited too.”
