Andy Rigby is Chief Executive Officer of the East of England Co-op, the largest independent retailer in the Eastern region. The East of England Co-op has proudly served communities across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire for over 150 years, using the values and principles of the co-operative movement to make a positive local impact.

With 40 years’ experience in senior executive roles across food retail, fast moving consumer goods, wholesale and pharmacy, Andy is passionate about providing essential services when and where they’re needed most. Alongside his corporate commitments, Andy leads a programme of charity foundation work in Gambia to improve local community education.

A long admirer of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’s invaluable work across Cambridgeshire, Andy joins as a trustee to offer his diverse commercial skills and expertise in support of the Charity’s Making Every Moment Count vision.
