Lindsey raises £1,500 to say thank you for the care her Mum received

Lindsey Bothamley from Wisbech, recently hosted an afternoon tea party at her home for the Alan Hudson Centre, in memory of her Mum, Pat.
30 friends and family members attended and supported the fun and emotional event, raising an incredible £1,500 to support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end of life care.
As a keen supporter, who wanted to give back for the care that her Mum and family received, Lindsey and her family also took part in Wisbech’s first Star Shine Night Walk earlier this year, when they walked under the team name of ‘Pat’s Dream Team’.

Lindsey commented:
” When I first met Michelle Knight, Palliative Care Hub Service Lead and Matron at the Alan Hudson Centre, with my Mum, we both felt instantly at ease.

Michelle made lots of promises, all of which she fulfilled before Mum died and I could not be more grateful.”
