Our Board of Trustees share the huge responsibility of governing the Charity, overseeing our operations and directing how we are managed and run. Each brings a unique set of skills.

Andy Rigby kindly shared his experience of being a Trustee at the Charity:

Why did you want to volunteer as a Trustee for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity?

I’ve long admired the Charity and the invaluable role it plays across Cambridgeshire. Their dedication to supporting people through some of life’s most difficult moments is both inspiring and humbling. I joined as a Trustee to offer my commercial experience in support of their ‘Making Every Moment Count’ vision. It’s a real privilege to contribute in a small way to the continued success of such an essential service for the community.

What do you enjoy about being a Trustee at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity?

I really enjoy being a part of such a committed and passionate team. It’s rewarding to be able to help ensure the Hospice and it’s services continues to thrive and support the community.

What would you say to someone else who is thinking of volunteering as a Trustee?

Becoming a Trustee is a fantastic way to give back and support a cause you care about. It allows you to use your professional experience in a new context, gain fresh perspectives and learn along the way. It’s a real opportunity to make a difference and I would absolutely encourage anyone considering it to get involved.
