Arthur Rank Hospice is delighted to welcome ‘The Cambridgeshire Care Home’ as their headline sponsor for Star Shine Night Walk 2020.

Star Shine Night Walk will be back for the twelfth year on Saturday 23 May, starting and finishing at Shelford Rugby Club.  Walkers are being invited to “make the streets of Cambridge glow green for your local Hospice” and can choose from a 6.5 or 10-mile route, which winds through the historic streets of Cambridge and surrounding countryside. Judith Wroe, Cambridgeshire Care Home Manager explains their motivation for sponsoring the event:

“We are proud to be sponsoring Star Shine Night Walk this year and are looking forward to leading our team of walkers on the night, having fun and raising money for an important cause. The Hospice plays an important part supporting our residents, families and many within the local Community, along with teaching opportunities for our staff learning development.

Many of us here at The Cambridgeshire Care Home have been touched by the great work that they do in a professional and sometimes personal capacity, making our choice to sponsor such a worthy charity an easy one.”

Emma Bray, Corporate Fundraiser adds:  “It is fantastic to have The Cambridgeshire Care Home on board as our headline sponsor. We are delighted to be working with such an enthusiastic group of colleagues and truly can’t thank them enough for believing in us and our work”.
