We are delighted to share that Arthur Rank Hospice Charity have been awarded Disability Confident Leader status (Level 3) — the highest level of the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.

The Disability Confident scheme recognises employers who are committed to creating inclusive workplaces where disabled people and those with long-term health conditions can thrive. Achieving Level 3 status is a significant milestone and a proud moment for the Charity, recognising not only our commitment to disability inclusion, but the positive action we are taking to lead by example and support others to do the same.

As a Disability Confident Leader, the Charity has shown its commitment to:

• Actively recruit and retain disabled people and people with long-term health conditions
• Provide inclusive and accessible recruitment processes
• Offer workplace adjustments and flexible working opportunities
• Promote a culture where disabled colleagues feel valued and supported
• Champion disability inclusion beyond our own organisation

This achievement reflects our long-standing commitment to ensuring everyone feels they belong, are valued, and have the opportunity to thrive.
We are proud of everyone who has contributed to this important achievement. Being recognised as a Disability Confident Leader strengthens our resolve to continue modelling inclusive employment practices and encouraging partners across the sector to do the same.
