We are always delighted to receive cute little stockings to sell via our shops and in our receptions around Christmas.
You can download a knitting pattern here if you would like to knit some for us.
As well as stockings, around Christmas we are also looking for fun sized chocolates to go in them so if you are able to we would gladly accept any of these donations by visiting our reception at the Hospice or the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech or in one of our shops.
Around Easter we sell knitted chicks. Each chick comes with a chocolate egg inside and are available before Easter from our reception at Arthur Rank Hospice, at the Alan Hudson Centre and in our shops.
Grab your knitting needles and start crafting as many chicks and friends as you can. You can use any colours you like, and if you’re not sure how to get started, don’t worry—we have easy-to-follow pattern for you.

Our knitted chicks flew out just in time for Easter in 2024, helping to raise over an incredible £4,000 to support people living in Cambridgeshire with an advanced serious illness or a life-limiting condition and those in need of end-of-life care.
Sold in our shops, by dedicated supporters, and at local events, each chick found a loving home while making a real difference to those we care for.
A huge thank you to all the talented knitters who created these adorable chicks and to everyone who donated chocolate eggs to fill them. Your generosity and support means so much.
You can help by knitting items, stockings, chicks, donating chocolate eggs, buying a chick or selling them in your community.
We need mini chocolates for the knitted stockings and Creme Egg-sized chocolate eggs to fit inside our knitted chicks.
