The Money Multiplier Challenge 2025 has come to a close after three months filled with creativity, teamwork and extraordinary generosity.

This year’s Money Multiplier Challenge has been another success raising vital funds to support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end of life care.

The Corporate Fundraising challenge ran from 1 October until 31 December 2025, and ambitious companies were tasked with competing to raise the most money from their £50 seed fund. We extend our thanks to Pure Resourcing Solutions for generously sponsoring the challenge and providing the £50 seed fund that helped each team get started.

Local businesses once again embraced the spirit of the challenge, finding imaginative ways to raise funds for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. From bake sales and quizzes to bingo, tombolas, raffles, snooker competitions, craft workshops and even origami making sessions, teams proved that when people come together with enthusiasm, small ideas can grow into something truly remarkable.

This year’s participants (Abzena, BHL Removers, Savills, Telefónica Tech (EN) and Voisin Consulting Life Sciences) collectively raised an amazing £4,244.83. The dedication and enthusiasm shown by all the teams was inspiring.

We are delighted to announce that Savills Cambridge are this year’s winners. The team embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, hosting a lively mix of events. Tia Dawson, Apprentice Surveyor at Savills Cambridge reflected on the challenge:

“I had the privilege of coordinating an office-wide fundraising initiative through Arthur Rank’s annual Money Multiplier Challenge. Our team came together to host a series of events, including a tombola, bacon butty morning, Halloween bake sale, office pub quiz, gingerbread workshop, and a festive Christmas raffle.

A huge thank you to all the Savills Cambridge office staff for their generosity, creativity, and enthusiasm in making these events such a success”.

All the teams involved showed commitment, enthusiasm and team spirit throughout the challenge and completing the challenge is a fantastic achievement.

Wyn Forrest-Owen, Vice President of Quality at Abzena also looked back on the success of the challenge:

“The Abzena staff came together in true team spirit – with laughter, costumes, cakes, and some biscuit decorating creativity. Through the amazing generosity, and shared purpose of our people, they successfully raised vital funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity as part of our Money Multiplier Challenge.

Thank you for all the kind donations (and wonderful cakes!)”

Every team brought something special to the challenge, whether through unique activities, teamwork or finding new ways to bring colleagues together. It has been a joy to watch ideas come to life and the corporate partnerships team has enjoyed supporting each group along the way.

The challenge has once again shown how powerful collective effort can be, and how creativity, compassion and community can transform a simple £50 seed fund into vital care for those who need it.

The money raised this year will help us continue to provide our ‘Outstanding’ services to patients and families, ensuring that every moment counts. To everyone who took part, supported a fundraiser or encouraged a team along the way, thank you.
