On Saturday 28 June 2025, Kerry Moore will be taking on a Wing Walk to raise funds for people cared for by Arthur Rank Hospice Charity!
Kerry’s decision to stand on the wing of a flying aircraft is a courageous and deeply personal tribute to her hero – her Dad, Dave Beeke, who sadly passed away on 10 January 2024.
Kerry explained more about her motivation:
“This incredible charity holds a special place in my heart because of the exceptional care they provided to my Dad during his final days at home. Their dedicated home care team fulfilled my mum’s promise to ensure that he received the utmost care and support allowing him to stay at home.”
Thanks to the support of the Charity’s Hospice at Home Team, Dave was able to remain at his home in Fordham, as was his wish. Their care helped fulfil a promise Kerry’s Mum had made to him, to make sure he could stay surrounded by the people and the place he loved.
Kerry continued:
“I’m truly grateful for the invaluable support my Dad and my Mum received. Now, I want to give back by raising funds to help the Charity continue their vital work.”
Sarah Clayton Community Fundraiser commented:
“Thank you, Kerry. Your courage and generosity will help ensure more families receive the same care and comfort when it matters most.”
Kerry’s goal is to raise £500 to support others going through similar journeys. If you would like to support Kerry find out more here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/kerry-moore-6
