Jake Crane

My name is Jake Crane and I’m currently studying Health and Social Care alongside Photography at Long Road Sixth Form in Cambridge. I am looking into furthering my education and going to University with an ambition to become a primary school teacher, which is something I have always wanted to do.

I became an ambassador for Arthur Rank in 2019 and, although I haven’t been in the position long, I have gained so many transferable skills such as communication, presentation skills and confidence. In my spare time, I also volunteer at the ARHC Cottenham shop and absolutely love it!

I wanted to become an ambassador for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity to enhance my skills and experience but also wanted to give something back to ARHC for all the amazing work and support they provide. My role as an ambassador involves promoting the charity on “who we are” and the “work we provide” to help establish meaningful relationships with different communities. I have been on many events such as the Star Shine Night Walk and the open gardens in Histon. It is such a privilege to be part of such a fantastic team! Please if you are interested in helping this wonderful charity, whether that is becoming an ambassador or volunteer, please do get in touch as every moment count.
