*Please be aware if you are applying for a role in the Hospice or Alan Hudson Centre you will need to have had both vaccinations.
Are you interested in supporting patients and staff on our ward on a flexible basis? Are you unable to make a regular commitment but would love to help? Then this is the perfect role for you!
If you have other commitments which make it tricky to volunteer regularly this is a lovely way to support the Hospice. All we ask for is a minimum commitment of one shift per month. Bank roles like this allow us to provide cover when volunteers have holidays or need a break. It means the ward is always supported!
Our IPU Bank role involves supporting our Housekeepers in providing patients and visitors with food and refreshments. This is a great role for someone who likes to be busy and have set tasks. Depending on which shift you cover you will be supporting with breakfasts, lunches or dinners. Once you have served food you will support with clearing crockery and keeping the ward and visitors lounge tidy.
