Are you interested in a volunteer role supporting our patients and their loved ones? Then this may be the role for you!

This role involves supporting with the running of our emotional freedom technique group which is part of the Living Well Service. Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as EFT or tapping, is an evidence-based self-help and therapy technique that can help release negative emotions and improve emotional regulation.

In this role you will:

  • Welcome and usher participants from the Reception/Bistro to the Sanctuary
  • Liaise with the Bistro if needed
  • Help setting up/clearing up the room before/after the sessions
  • Act as point of contact for answering basic questions about the group
  • Assist with any specific needs (pushing a wheelchair, ensuring they have access to a hearing device etc)

This is a great opportunity to be part of close knit team and part of a brand new project for the Charity!
