As a Registered Nurse of this gold accredited Best Employer Charity, you will work as part of a friendly and passionate multi-disciplinary team (MDT) of specialists, led by a Ward Manager.

The successful candidate will provide professional, patient centred, palliative care to patients, ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by patients, their families and carers. You will lead, support and encourage the sharing of knowledge and skills within the team

The ideal applicant will be NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) with post registration experience in palliative care or in community, be able to work as part of a team and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Our expert (MDT) provides care to those with complex needs, whilst also supporting patients in nurse-led beds. Our MDT approach means that we can provide expert care to patients with complex and end of life care needs, which is holistic in its approach and tailored to each person’s specific needs

We have 23 beds available with 8 single rooms and a 4-bedded  in each wing. Usually 60% of our beds are dedicated to patients with complex end of life care needs and 40% are nurse-led beds, to help relieve pressure at our local NHS hospital, Addenbrooke’s.

All staff are expected to work an internal shift rotation including days, nights and weekends:

Early’s 07:30 15:30
Lates 13:30 21:30
Nights 19:30 08:00
Long Days 07:30 20:00
