As part of the Hospice at Home Team, based at Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge, you will work with patients, carers and registered nurses in the delivery of end-of-life care in patients’ homes.
You will assist in the delivery of nursing and specialist palliative care (end of life), ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by patients and their carers, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and with the support of Band 3 Healthcare Assistants on a shift basis (between 8am-10pm).
The successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate caring, understanding attitude, have the ability to empathise with the needs of the clients and the ability to work under pressure and in difficult/emotional situations.
