I love the variety in this job and the challenge, and I have a passion for working with others. My role constantly revolves around interacting with people, whether it’s meeting potential employees or assisting current employees with queries or questions. 

You’ll find me in the Human Resources & Voluntary Services Office, Monday – Friday where I’ll most likely be managing sickness, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. performance records) and updating internal databases.

I also work closely with the finance department to ensure changes and leavers are processed in time for monthly payroll deadlines! 

There are also plenty of ADHOC jobs that my colleagues give me, needless to say I don’t have time to be bored! Employee challenges come up regularly, as well as updated employment laws etc, it keeps variety and excitement on the job. Challenges like these keep the work engaging, no matter how long you’ve been doing it for!
