Charlie & Molly hit the high note!

07 August 2015

A C.D, produced by school friends Charlie and Molly, has now raised a terrific £5000 for Lisa’s Fund in aid of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

Last Friday they visited the site of our new hospice, with CEO Dr Lynn Morgan and Lisa’s Fund founder Robert Barnes, to present another cheque for £2,500.

The money has been raised through the sales of their CD and donations kindly received in respect of this.

17 year olds Charlie and Molly, with the help of their family and the support of Robert, produced the CD with the aim that all funds raised would go towards the new hospice build.

Dr Lynn Morgan, CEO at the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, said: ‘Molly and Charlie are very talented and it is to their tremendous credit that they have used their talent to raise money for our new hospice. We are enormously grateful’.

Robert Barnes, founder of Lisa’s Fund, said: ‘Charlie and Molly have shown great commitment and determination in producing such a wonderful C.D. 100% of the funds will go straight to the new build for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. I’m delighted that they have now reached the half way mark in their fundraising challenge, only another £5000 to go!’.

They have set themselves an enormous £10,000 target so if you would like to help them reach their goal, please click HERE to buy the CD.

A number of pop up shops will be held in the coming months around Cambridgeshire, giving information about the new hospice and selling copies of Charlie and Mollies C.D ‘Wish You Were Here’. Keep your eyes peeled for dates and locations on our events page, which can be found HERE
