Accumulator Challenge
Three months, a £50 stake and the chance to raise as much money as possibly can.
Battle against other local businesses and attempt to be crowned the winner of this years Accumulator Challenge!
How does it work?
Each team is given £50, kindly donated by Arm, at the outset with the aim of the challenge being to multiply that initial investment into as much money as possible through creative, original, and entrepreneurial activities, between 1 October and 31 December.
Why take part?
Taking part in the Accumulator Challenge is a great way to inject some fun into your workplace and engage your team. It creates the perfect opportunity to extend your networking, attract some positive PR within your local community and get that feel good factor knowing you are supporting your local hospice.
What have other organisations done in the past?
Many choose to hold all of their fundraising on one day whilst others choose to hold various activities over the three-month period. We’ve had companies hold Christmas Jumper Days, Pumpkin Carving Competitions, Bread Making Classes, Bacon Butty deliveries and even Car Washes in the office car park. We have endless ideas which we would love to share with you to get you off to the best possible start!
Why is it so important?
To date, this exciting fundraising initiative has generated almost £100,000 towards our patient care and seen over 100 teams take part. This amount of money truly makes a difference to the patients and families we care for.
