Granta Chorale All in the end is harvest
All in the end…is Harvest is a reflective programme bringing together beautiful music of consolation for loss with songs of celebration for the harvest – twin aspects of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Movements from the well-loved requiems by Brahms and Fauré join Herbert Howells ‘Take Him Earth for Cherishing’ written in memory of JFK. The sequence includes Gibbons, Walton, Hindemith, Rutter, Purcell, Bullard, Wheeler and Cattley as well as more folk-based items. Joining the choir on piano and organ is renowned accompanist Richard Carr.
Retiring collection for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
