Claire's Story

01 September 2017

I first took part [in Bridge the Gap]16 years ago with some of my Girl Guides.

We felt it was a good way of seeing Cambridge and for a good cause. Since we started, a very dear friend was in the Hospice and I felt it was a good way to support the work that is done there.

The friendly atmosphere and the fact it is not a race and just a lovely walk around the College’s and Cambridge.

I’d like to encourage others to take part because it is a great way of raising money for fantastic facility, and it’s fun with no pressure.

I’ve always liked Bridge the Gap, as it is for local charities – you can see where your money is benefiting.

I’m looking forward to taking part this year, it will be another fun morning out in Cambridge, looking at all of the lovely gardens.
