Shop Manager (full-time), Mill Road

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire who are living with a life-limiting illness. Delivered from our new location at Shelford Bottom, Cambridge and the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech, our care and services are provided free of charge and we have been recognised, this year, as outstanding by CQC. Our professional, compassionate and practical services deliver care, counselling and education, helping our patients and their loved ones to make every moment count. 


Our Charity shops are an important source of funding and play a vital role in raising an awareness of the Charity, therefore, in this particular role, you will be able to use your ideas, experience and creativity to help support the wonderful care provided by Arthur Rank Hospice.


We currently have 5 shops open: 3 in central Cambridge, Cottenham and Great Shelford and we trade across 7 days per week. We are looking to recruit a full-time Shop Manager to control and manage the retail operations of our shop on Mill Road in Cambridge.

We are very fortunate as we receive many high quality donations and part of your role will be to ensure the shop is well organised and looks attractive. 

The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, have an experience of working in a similar retail environment as well as excellent communication skills. An experience of working with volunteers will be an advantage.

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £17,750 per annum
