In-Patient Unit, therefore, we are seeking to recruit part-time Healthcare Assistant.
will work as part of a friendly and passionate multi-disciplinary team of
specialists, led by a Ward Matron. As a Healthcare Assistant you will assist in the delivery of nursing and specialist palliative care,
ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by patients while
in the hospice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
successful candidate will have experience as a Nursing Assistant, or
equivalent, in a hospice or community setting, caring and understanding
attitude and empathy as well as be able to effectively communicate both
verbally and in writing. Previous experience within palliative/terminal care
setting will be an advantage.

Hours: Part-time (15.5 p/w)
Salary: £17,652 - £19,020 per
annum pro rata plus enhancements for working during: nights, weekends and bank
All staff are expected to work an internal shift rotation including days, nights and weekends.
Shift times are: Earlys 07:30 – 15:30, Lates 13:30 – 21:30, Nights 19:30 – 08:00 or Long Days 07:30 – 20:00
