Occupational Therapist (part-time)

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire who are living with a life-limiting illness. Delivered from our new location at Shelford Bottom, Cambridge and the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech, our care and services are provided free of charge and we have been recognised, this year, as outstanding by CQC. Our professional, compassionate and practical services deliver care, counselling and education, helping our patients and their loved ones to make every moment count. 

We are currently looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work 18.75 hours per week on a permanent contract. You will be working as part of our Therapy Team, alongside other Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistant. In this role, you will be expected to work as part of the team providing support to patients on our in-patient unit, day therapy service and our community team. You will be helping patients to manage common symptoms such as: anxiety, fatigue and breathlessness and empowering them to regain some control at a challenging time in their lives.

The successful candidate will have: relevant work experience, diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy, Health Professional Council registration (HPC) as well as be able to work unsupervised, manage case load and make decisions related to care planning.

Salary: £30,401 - £37,267 per annum pro rata
