Arthur Rank Hospice Charity needs the support of independent grant makers such as trusts and foundations to maintain our specialist ‘end of life’ care services free of charge to patients and their families. |
Funding from grants is important to the Hospice, in that they play a major role in funding both existing services and our ability to invest in new services and projects.
The Charity currently receives approximately 5% of it’s income from grants from Charitable Trusts - that’s approximately 2% less on average than many other Hospices. Regular grants from Trusts help stabilise our finances, allowing us to plan ahead and support the Hospice so that the provision of the high levels of specialist life enhancing care can be maintained.
There are many important services and projects at the Hospice for which the Charity must fund. Our needs cover the following areas:
· Families · Communities · Elderly People · Children and Young People · Healthcare · Social Work and Welfare · Arts and ComplementaryTherapies · Capital Funding
If you have any connections with a charitable trust ot foundation that might be able to support Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, please contact the Fundraising Office 01223 723115 or e-mail fundraising@arhc.org.uk Thank you |
