To take part you must register by filling in an application form. All entries will be processed in the order received. Although you can register on the night calculations are made in advance for t-shirts, medals, catering and goodies, so if you do sign up on the day your payment is for entry only. If you want to walk with friends please secure your places by registering your entries at the same time. One payment must be received with each entry. Your registration fee covers all expenses i.e: T-Shirt, bacon sandwich, drinks etc, unless you are registering on the night where these will be allocated where quantity allows on a first come first served basis but we may run out. It also secures your place and is not refundable. If you are unable to take part please let us know as soon as possible. You must not "give" your place to anyone else and it is important that you return your sponsorship form even if it has no entries. All participants are responsible for their own medical conditions; if in any doubt about your ability to finish the Star Shine Stroll or you have a medical condition consult your doctor prior to commencing your exercise programme. We will ask if you have any allergies or medical conditions which we should be aware of, but this is for reference purposes only. The Star Shine Stroll is not a race and no walkers are allowed to run or jog. You can power walk but no walker must pass the nominated lead walkers. Disabled entrants are welcome to take part although due to the nature of the event we ask you to contact the organisers prior to filling in this form as people with some disabilities might not find this event feasible. Please include any relevant conditions on the entry form. If a disabled person requires assistance from another person, this person must also register for the walk but will not have to pay. Only guide dogs are accepted - no other pets or animals are permitted at the Star Shine Stroll or on the event route. On NO account is alcohol to be brought into, or consumed prior to and during the event. You are not permitted to use any of the sponsorship money you raise to pay for your expenses. All sponsorship money given to you must be passed directly to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity - Cheques are to be made payable to Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. We will confirm receipt of your registration by email. If you have not received notification of a problem with your registration within 2 weeks, you can assume your entry has been successful. Please be aware, parking is limited at the venue and therefore car pooling is encouraged. We will assume you give permission for your photographs to be used in any promotional materials unless you write to the event organisers to advise us that this is not the case.
