Morgan Sindall tee off to a grand total!

15 May 2014

A huge thank you to Morgan Sindall and in particular Malcolm Ashby for putting on a fantastic golf day in aid of ARHC today.

Nearly 90 golfers took to the Brampton Park Golf Course for 18 holes of wonderful golf, with competitions for nearest the pin and longest drive to name just a few.

The day, which was blessed with great weather, culminated with a meal in the clubhouse, where prizes were presented and the raffle and auction took place. A wonderful array of prizes has been donated in aid of the event, including a golf trolley, two golf bags, rounds of golf at other well known clubs, gift vouchers and much more. The event ended with an auction for a round for four at the Belfry which raised a further £150.

Donna Talbot, Fundraising & Marketing Manager for the charity said ’We are overwhelmed by the support from today’s event. We know Morgan Sindall organise an excellent corporate golf day and this year was no different. Keyline, British Gypsym, Speedy, SIG, Cooleraid, Armstrong, Morgan Sindall plus many others companies took part and it proved to be a very successful day.’

On receiving a cheque for a donation of £3600, Donna added ’This is a tremendous amount of money, this will enable the charity to fund 14 episodes of Hospice at Home care, a service which cares for and supports people in their own homes in the last two weeks of life or alternatively 120 counselling sessions. A service which is extremely important to individuals who have sadly been bereaved as a result of a life limiting condition.’

The charity would like to thank Morgan Sindall, all the companies who took part and/or donated prizes and of course the Brampton Park golf course for hosting the event.
