Arthur Rank House is dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers.  All care is provided free of charge, and is offered to people living throughout much of Cambridgeshire.   The aim is to enable patients and those close to them to live as fully as fully as possible, and make the most of the time that's left.

Originally an In-Patient Unit alone, we now provide a range of services including Day Therapy and Outpatient clinics, counselling services and Hospice at Home nurses in the community.

Specialist palliative care is the care given to patients, their families and carers when the patients’ condition no longer responds to curative treatment. In this situation, quality of life and the needs of the individual become the focus of care.

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity works in partnership with the NHS to support patients, their families, staff and volunteers at Arthur Rank House. This year the Charity must fundraise over £1 million to meet our financial commitments at the Hospice.
