Marie in day therapy

Donna Talbot, our fundraising and marketing manager, was delighted to have the opportunity to talk with Marie, one of our day therapy patients. Marie has been visiting the day therapy unit, which is funded by the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, for the past six weeks. Marie is currently halfway through the programme which has been created to help Marie manage her symptons and other elements of her illness....

Andrew and Lymphoedema treatment

Andrew discovered he had cancer of the tongue in 2011, surgery and subsequent radiotherapy and chemotherapy caused swelling to Andrew's neck and jawline. Andrew was one of the first patients to be referred to Arthur Rank Hospice for Lymphoedema treatment from the Ear, Nose and Throat clinic at Addenbrookes hospital. Here is Andrews story: ...

Luke in day therapy

Luke Dalton was first diagnosed with a large Bulla in his right lung requiring surgery in the mid-nineties, sadly a further 9 years on, he was diagnosed with the same condition on his left lung, again requiring surgery. Luke is now diagnosed as having lung disease (COPD). Here is Luke's story...
